Parent committees play a pivotal role in organizing various activities which foster the development of the child. As a result, parents become integral entities in the school’s endeavors. Through these committees, parents can help organize and execute activities and events occurring during the school year. These committees are essential and mandatory in a Montessori environment.Parental involvement in these committees is important for the growth of the children and the development of the school. Parents can also observe and understand the progress of their child through these activities.

After parents have gained some understanding of the school structure by participating in its activities for three years, they are encouraged to use their personal expertise as a member of the Board or in various sub-committees. The board welcomes the election of interested members with particular skills and commitment in areas such as fundraising, finance, law, catering, editing, public relations, and maintenance whenever vacancies arise.
